Are you passionate about getting to know the magic of mosaic?
Do you miss using your hands and creativity?
Do you long to get into the flow of contemplation?
Do you want to share your creativity with others?

Then come on an atmospheric and educational summer course where you will immerse yourself in the mosaic. The course is 5 weekdays, where classes are from 9.30 — 17.00. We start in Birthe's workshop in Vanløse. We can work both outside and inside — depending on the wind and weather. CONTENT The week course has a high school atmosphere, as long as you sleep in your own bed. We sing the morning song. There will be a daily inspirational talk about mosaic, immersion and creativity. You have the opportunity to challenge yourself with slightly larger projects and be guided along the way. You can volunteer to participate in small leg stretches and exercises to challenge my creativity with mosaic. You will be taught basic techniques and processes and the different materials and methods that can be used. Along the way, you will receive advice and guidance both practical and artistic as needed. Everyone has to learn something different, and there is room for you whether you are a beginner or experienced. PREREQUISITES The desire to play, learn and explore is all you need to bring with you. You can participate whether mosaic is brand new to you or you bring a basket full of experiences.

What is included

Breakfast bread, coffee and tea, vegetarian lunch, and healthy afternoon snack. Materials are settled separately.

About MosaikMagi

I am a Mosaic artist, garden enthusiast and the creative driving force in Mosaic Magic. Since 1997, I have worked with creativity and art in many different contexts, materials, shapes, colors and sizes. Curiosity and the desire for experimentation have always been my driving force. Mosaic Magic and garden art made my heart beat faster right from the start. Installation art with, for example, clocks, cotton swabs and hairpins or flip flaps and Landart, art in nature with nature's own materials, has over time shaped me into the artist I am today. Painting on large canvases, sculpture with a chainsaw or clay I can perfectly combine with my other skills as a teacher and facilitator in communication, management and organizational development. I have had a long career as a management developer. See evt. Maybe that's my strongest DNA -- being curious, trying out options and thinking “we'll find a way to that.” I sincerely hope that those who pass me by will be infected by my enthusiasm for the learning process, immersion and familiarity with the materials. In recent years, I have been particularly concerned with the regenerative transformation, with all that it entails from both internal and external changes. Essentially, I am advocating that we should strive for a holistic approach. In fact, I have a heartfelt belief that creativity opens up our consciousness, which goes far beyond what our thoughts and words can articulate. Moreover, my approach is that creativity in its many forms promotes life joy and well-being, and is itself healing in the frayed life.
