Flowers in mosaic

Flowers have always been an alluring motif in art. They speak to our sense of colors, shapes and beauty. In this special course, you are invited to translate the poetry of flowers into a personal mosaic work in glass.

We work with stained glass and mosaic in a vivid interaction between light, transparency and colors. Based on a fresh bouquet of flowers, you develop your own motif and create a unique mosaic picture, in which the special qualities of the glass are allowed to unfold.

The course is aimed at those who already have basic experience with mosaic and are familiar with the use of mosaic tools. We move beyond the basic techniques and consciously work with composition, color composition, motif building and artistic expression.

A course for those who want to refine your mosaic craft and let the light and colors of glass become part of your artistic expression. If you are new, I recommend that you take a basic course.

We start with flower croquis, color the drawing, put together a palette of colors and turn it all into a mosaic.

Along the way, you will receive individual guidance in developing your own work, so that it becomes both personal and harmonious in its expression.

The course is held in MosaikMagi's atmospheric studio, where shelves abound with glass, colors and materials. There is room for both immersion, professional sparring and the special joy that arises when hands and creativity work together.
