Flower Poetry in Crepe Paper

Flowers have fascinated people at all times. They are symbols of beauty, vitality, transformation and hope.

we set the flower feeling free and create our very own floral poetry.

At this workshop, we work with crepe paper, colors and imagination to create flowers that grow somewhere between nature and narrative.

We begin by exploring the material and its many possibilities. You will learn how crepe paper can be shaped, stretched and transformed into petals with life, movement and character. Along the way, we work with coloring the paper and experimenting with color transitions and surprising color combinations.

I myself work with the flower as a symbol more than as a lifelike representation. Therefore, there is room for play, intuition and personal interpretations. Some flowers become gentle and poetic, others wild and colorful. Each flower finds its own expression.

You will learn how to build a simple flower step by step so that everyone can participate — even if you have never worked with paper flowers before.

After the workshop, you will have created your own flower and gained insight into the basic techniques so that you can continue the experiments at home.
