Frodes Folkehus, learn to make mosaic
Frode Jakobsens Plads 4, 2720 Vanløse
Pimp your home with colors, patterns, and magic
At this summer activity in Frodes Folkehus, you will learn how to make your own unique mosaic — on a pot, jar or dish that you bring yourself. Working with shards from old china and clinker, we give new life to things that would otherwise have landed in the bin. It's both fun and sensuous — and you get the joy of creating with your hands. The workshop is open to everyone from 6 years old and up.
Come alone, with your children or bring a friend.
There is room for 20 participants and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. You must bring with you the object you want to mosaic-decorate (e.g., a flower pot or a small dish). All other materials are made available. MosaikMagi loves communities — which is why we are especially excited to hold this workshop in collaboration with Frodes Folkehus. **Question: *

About MosaikMagi
I am a Mosaic artist, garden enthusiast and the creative driving force in Mosaic Magic.
Since 1997, I have worked with creativity and art in many different contexts, materials, shapes, colors and sizes. Curiosity and the desire for experimentation have always been my driving force.
Mosaic Magic and garden art made my heart beat faster right from the start. Installation art with, for example, clocks, cotton swabs and hairpins or flip flaps and Landart, art in nature with nature's own materials, has over time shaped me into the artist I am today.
Painting on large canvases, sculpture with a chainsaw or clay I can perfectly combine with my other skills as a teacher and facilitator in communication, management and organizational development. I have had a long career as a management developer. See evt. [my profile on LinkedIn.] (https://www.linkedin.com/in/hyldborg/)
I am particularly good at at learning from me, inspiring and enthusing, and gladly go forward in the discovery of new possibilities and material compositions. Maybe that's my strongest DNA -- being curious, trying out options and thinking “we'll find a way to that.” I sincerely hope that those who pass me by will be infected by my enthusiasm for the learning process, immersion and familiarity with the materials.
In recent years, I have been particularly concerned with the regenerative transformation, with all that it entails from both internal and external changes. Essentially, I am advocating that we should strive for a holistic approach. In fact, I have a heartfelt belief that creativity opens up our consciousness, which goes far beyond what our thoughts and words can articulate. Moreover, my approach is that creativity in its many forms promotes life joy and well-being, and is itself healing in the frayed life.
